JIM SAUNDERS
Jim is a Pricing and Revenue Management Professional with 20 years experience across North America, Europe and Asia. Led the Pricing Management practice at Pricing Solutions for 13 years.
He has worked with 7 of the Dow Jones 30, including: ExxonMobil, General Electric, Pfizer and McDonalds. His work with Exxon started in the Chemicals business and has since expanded to include all downstream businesses.
Director of Finance at Nestle included responsibility for RM in a multi channel business. With mid-sized firms, he focuses on helping them re-establish their value and develop new capabilities for Price Execution and Measurement.
In his position as Manager of Strategic Planning at Bombardier Aerospace, he was responsible for developing a radically redesigned process for development of new aircraft programs. It is the blend of his background in finance and process management that gives him a unique, practical perspective on pricing and pricing processes.
He led the team which won the INFORMS Pricing Practice Award in conjunction with Molson-Coors and Queen’s University for their work developing a price and promotion optimization process and tool.
The Professional Pricing Society has enlisted him as a faculty member for their Certified Pricing Professional curriculum.
Jim is a Professional Engineer and has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario’s Ivey School of Business.
